Skills for Scotland is the nation’s premier provider of apprenticeship training to the Sports & Leisure industries, with over 240 registered modern apprentices throughout the length and breadth of Scotland. We work in partnership with employers, national associations, sporting organisations and local government leisure centres as well as the European Commission, Scottish Government funding agencies, the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) and SkillsActive, the industry Sector Skills Council.

All of our programmes are routinely audited and scrutinised by the regulatory authorities and our courses have been independently recognised as providing the highest possible standards of delivery and the best possible learning experience for our apprentices. The SfS delivery team has been involved in vocational education provision in Scotland for over 20 years and our assessors are motivated to ensure that each Modern Apprentice receives a unique training programme which is tailor made to meet their individual needs and aspirations.
